Berlin Mambo Scene

The Berlin mambo scene has been a little cool over the winter. Coming out dancing is hard when you can't feel your feet. The German winters are harsh.

This summer we are going to dance our feet off, to latin jazz, salsa dura, mambo pachanga and guaguanco.

On the road again

I am traveling again and trying to dance in every city I move through.

In Sydney last week I went to the Pumphouse on monday night, this is the place to get your best fix of Salsa and Mambo in Sydney, if you like the New York Latin jazz sound, without question.

In Canberra I danced on thursday night at the Uni Pub, they played some nice Zouk and Bachata as well as variety of different kinds of salsa. No on2 dancers unfortunately, but loads of lovely people.

In Melbourne I went and saw Rumberos play live at The Nite Cat in Fitzroy. Great band, but that place has a terrible dance floor, as sticky as fly paper.
